What is Social Media Marketing?
A Definition: Social Marketing is a form of internet marketing that attempts to reach marketing goals by communication and participation in various Social Media markets such as MySpace, Facebook, YouTube; and bookmarking sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, Squidoo and others.
My goals and your goals in wanting to use Social Marketing are probably very similar and will involve some form of "brand awareness", or making a name for ourselves and our Network Marketing business. Social Marketing can increase our online visibility, encourage feedback, and help us sell our Network Marketing products or services.
Social Media Sites can include news articles, photos, videos, and podcasts submitted by users and may allow users to vote on your content, or post comments. This can make your content more accessible to your Network Marketing prospects and help you rank higher in the search engines because of its popularity.
Since we're all so sick of traditional hard-core selling, it's good to hear that we can effectively reach online communities with messages designed to appeal to them and enjoy contributing to a targeted community of potential Network Marketing prospects, not just boost ourselves with "it's all about me" content!
Some ways that you can do this are by sharing accurate information on Internet Marketing (providing value); Network Marketing news; using humor, and your humble opinion. Just remember, this is NOT selling, this is socializing.
